A mobile device charging hub, powered by solar energy
The goal of this project is to co-design with the Fountain Alley Community in collaboration with Downtown Streets Team, Local Color, and CommUniverCity. A team project between Nancy Nguyen, Ruttapon Ritprasert, and myself, Kenneth Gordon, with input from the community planning group and community members to develop prototype concepts to activate Fountain Alley.
CO-DESIGN
The co-design process involves a community in the design process, by allowing them to bring forth ideas that they want and would use. To facilitate this, a workshop was held that gathered community members to collaborate. Every concept during and after the co-design event is from or derived from community members like Josue Fuentes (pictured above), a deputy district attorney with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
